To put your name on our Wait List you will need to come to the Centre Monday to Friday between 2.30 and 3.30 pm. If you are unable to visit the Centre you can download our Wait List form which can be found under 'Downloads'. For further information please contact the Centre.

The cost is $20.00 (non-refundable).

As our groups for 2012 have been finalised we will no longer be charging the $20 Wait List fee for applications received for this year. Payment is still required for Wait List applications received for the 2013 Kindy year.

Parents of children on the Wait List will be contacted if their child has a place from August onwards in the year before their child is due to attend.

Opening hours

Children attend 5 days per fortnight between 9 am – 2.30 pm.

The Centre operates Monday to Friday during the school term.

Fee summary

We are a Community not for profit Kindergarten and the Management Committee sets the fees each year to cover the costs of running the Centre. Please contact the Centre for details of the current year's fee structure.

Age groupings

We operate four Kindy groups (22 children each) in two units. The groups operate over a 5 day fortnight cycle with qualified, experienced Early Childhood Teachers and Teachers Assistants.

Children must turn four by June 30 in the year they attend. Please see above for a table of dates.

Group 1 - Monday, Tuesday (alternate Wednesday

Group 2 - (alternate Wednesday), Thursday, Friday

Additional services

We are registered as a child care provider and parents may be eligible to claim the Child Care Benefit (CCB). Further details can be obtained from the Family Assistance Office.

News

Our Parent Body have worked very hard and were able to fund the purchase of a new outdoor storage shed during 2010.

During the Easter 2011 school holidays we were fortunate enough to have the floor coverings replaced in both our rooms thanks to a Grant received from the Queensland Government Community Benefit Fund. Thank you to everyone involved in helping to make this happen.

We were also fortunate to receive a Grant from the Telstra Kids Fund to install an additional front gate. This has now been installed and will assist in helping to improve security and child safety.

Events

Our 2014 Wait List will open on 18 March 2012 at 8am. For further details please contact the Centre closer to the time. Please note that we are unable to accept Wait List applications prior to that date.

C & K Bulimba is managed by a Management Committee elected by the parents at the AGM held in November each year. We have a dedicated Social Committee that operates to provide social functions for the children, parents and families. Some of these functions include family picnics in the park, Mothers/Fathers Day events and a children's disco. Each event is always highly anticipated and is a great opportunity to meet other families.
